My leadership was built from the technical floor up. I started in hands-on systems and network administration, earning Microsoft and Cisco infrastructure certifications (CCVP, CCDP, CCNP, MCSE) while building deep experience across networking, design, voice, contact center, and unified communications technologies.
That technical path led me into instruction, where I taught Microsoft MCSE as a Certified Microsoft Trainer (MCT 1046170), I also taught Cisco CCNA, CCNP CCVP boot camps and Cisco Academy as a Certified Cisco Instructor (CCSI 23159) and Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (761410). Teaching became one of the most important parts of my development because it sharpened my ability to translate complex technical issues into clear language for engineers, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
Over time, my work evolved into federal IT operations and service delivery leadership. I led enterprise UC/UCS operations, coordinated SMEs, supported escalations, managed production readiness, worked with PMO and security teams, supported vulnerability and ATO-related activities, and enforced documentation and operational discipline.
Today, I apply that same foundation to Cisco FSO / NextGen AIOps service delivery across Splunk, AppDynamics, and ThousandEyes. My career has progressed from hands-on technical depth, to technical instruction, to SME leadership, to federal IT operations and service delivery.
I also obtained additional certifications during my Technical journey:
ITIL v3
Cisco Lifecycle Services for Advanced Unified Communications
Cisco IP Contact Center Express Specialist
Cisco Rich Media Communications Specialist
Cisco Sales Expert: SMB Account Manager
Cisco Technical Expert: SMB Engineer
